Researchers have been trying to figure out why social media is so popular. Some of their conclusions make us users seem a bit batty.

What TRULY FREAKING SCARES THE HELL out of me however, are these two stats in this great read:
1) "1 in 3 of hte people under 30 say they value social media freedom over salary"
2) "56% of people said that they wouldn't take a job that didn't allow access to social media."
That is just disturbing - with the state that the economy is and has been in, with Occupy Wall Street (which I agree they have some...good ...points , regarding corruption, absolutelly despise the actual protesters - as for a while they sat right outside my brother's Union Square apartment I crashed at for a few months, and literally did nothing but bang their bongo drums, drink, and smoke marijuana.
Excuse me for that rant there - but there is something seriously wrong w/ people who would choose "liking" posts, or posting stupid nonesense waiting to see who responds and whatevers...
Social Media apparently is worth more than money in those certain cases...how sad.
ON A POSITIVE NOTE TO END W/ I GUESS:
"Posting about yourself on social media sites rewards your brain the same way food and sex do." Haha gotta love those dopamines...
